Probability is used to say how likely it is that events are going to happen, as we can’t predict events with total certainty.
Terms used in probability:
a) Likely-expected to happen
b) Unlikely-not expected to happen
c) Probably-may happen
d) Never – will surely not happen
e) Sometimes– happens but not always
f) Always-happens all the time
Formula for finding a probability of something happening:
Probability = Number of favourable outcomes ÷ Number of possible outcomes
